5 Nashville Must See Shows: October

Fall is officially here!  The weather is started to cool down and those glorious flannels we all love are getting brought back out for a new season of pumpkins, leaves, and crisp air.  This is my favorite time of year to go see an outdoor show, there’s nothing better than that cool fall breeze while enjoying some of your favorite jams underneath the stars.  So I’m back again to help you map out your concert calendar for the month of October in Nashville with 5 must see shows for the month.  Here we go!

  1. Howie Dayhowie-dayWhen: October 10 @ 8:00pm
    Location:  City Winery
    Price:  $18.00-$29.00
Why:  All the middle school/early high school feels.  “Collide” and “She Says” were the emotional ballads of my youth.  Everyone loves a little nostalgia.
  2. Florida Georgia Line:  Dig Your Roots Tour

    Location:  Bridgestone Arena
    Price:  $69.75, $49.75, $29.75
Why:  The boys of FGL know how to throw one hell of a party.  The “Dig Your Roots” tour is no exception.  This time they’v brought along Cole Swindell, The Cadillac Three and Kane Brown for the ride.  Make sure when this party bus stops in Nashville you’re there.
  3. Rick Astley
     October 11 @ 6:00pm
    Location:  Marathon Music Works
    Price:  $25 – $35, 18 and over
Why:  Do you remember the song “Never Gonna Give You Up“?  Yes, that’s Rick Astley.  The song topped the charts in over 25 countries back in 1987.  Rick promised he would never give us up back then and it still holds true today.  Don’t miss out on the chance to see this record breaking performer at one of Nashville’s best intimate venues.
  4. Timeflies:  Party in the Basement Tour
    timefliesWhen:  October 25 @ 8:00pm
    Location:  12th and Porter
