With the weight the last name Montgomery holds in country music it would be easy for Walker Montgomery to feel overwhelmed to step out as an artist. Walker’s the son of John Michael Montgomery and nephew of Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry. After talking to Walker for two minutes it is clear as day of two things: he bleeds blue for his home state of Kentucky and has a level confident head stepping into the country music world on his own.
With “yes ma’am” and “mama” flowing from his mouth with ease it is apparent Walker is a true southern gentleman the female fans are sure to swoon for. It’s hard to believe he is only 19.
